A "Bruce Lee" Approach to Using Aromatherapy, Herbs, Carriers, Technology, and More to Sup

Man practicing Kung Fu

Lee Jun-fan, better know as Bruce Lee was a Hong Kong and American actor, director, martial artist, martial arts instructor, philosopher, and founder of the martial art Jeet Kun Do. This new martial art emphasized flexibility, speed, efficiency, and practicalness. Lee drew from a variety of martial arts, boxing, fencing, and a variety of training methods in an attempt to create a create a martial art outside of parameters and limitations.

As a martial artist and instructor I found this approach fascinating and realized I apply this approach to my aromatherapy and herbal practices. While an aromatherapist can stick to essential oils and hydrosols to support health and wellness with great success, I like finding ways to incorporate not only essential oils, but also herbs, healing touch, energetics, science, and new technologies to best serve my clients. I continue to learn and build my knowledge base and skills to provide layers of plant based and holistic techniques for clients.

For example to help support sleep in tough cases I may use aromatherapy coupled with herbal teas or tinctures to support the body on several levels. For skin issues a cleansing, toning, and moisturizing routine for the face can be used alongside a cleansing herbal tea to support the skin inside and out.

For back ache CBD salve with analgesic and anti inflammatory carriers and essential oils can be even more effective coupled with circulatory massage.

For skin care and hair care incorporating unrefined carriers and essential oils can do wonders for the body, mind, and spirit.

I will often pray with clients or suggest meditation and positivity. These can go a long ways towards supporting the spirit.

On the technology front I've collaborated with AromOx to provide oxygen therapy with aromatherapy to help support wellness and address skin or scalp issues. In the works they also have an aromatherapy travel accessory that is bringing aromatherapy into the 21st century (check it out here).

So maybe you never thought Bruce Lee and aromatherapy had anything in common but here at Aromatherapy by Tricia perhaps they do. I'd like to help innovate, create, advance, preserve, and improve aromatherapy, plant based, and holistic wellness. If you are interested in such an approach feel free to contact me to chat or to get started creating a plan or product to help you reach your wellness goals. I'll continue to keep you updated on new techniques and coursework I complete to better you.

Aromatic blessings,

Tricia
